Number of recognised foreign dental schools to be increased

Learn about newly added institutions and implications for dental registration.
The Ministry of Health, in conjunction with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), will be recognising more foreign dental schools from 1 January 2008. All dental schools accredited by the American Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association will be added to the Schedule of the Dental Registration Act. The addition of 48 American dental schools and 7 Canadian dental schools will increase the number of recognised foreign dental schools from the current 34 to 89.
